About Azerbaijan

 Azerbaijan is situated at the eastern side of the Transcaucasia (or South Caucasus) on the shores of the Caspian Sea. The population of Azerbaijan exceeds 9.8 million and the territory covers an area of 86 600 square kilometers. According to both of these figures, Azerbaijan is the largest country of the South Caucasus. The City of Baku is the capital and the country’s largest city. The National language here is Azerbaijani. However, Russian is also widely used and many younger residents also speak English. Azerbaijan – a new, ambitious country, developing and progressive, but still loyal to its roots and origins. Azerbaijan is visited by millions of tourists every year. But the number is expected to double and most likely even triple in the near future. Azerbaijan receives and dispatches planes from six international airports that are equipped to the latest standard. New bus routes have been established, a major international seaport is under construction near Baku. Each year, a multitude of concert halls, sports facilities, shopping centers, restaurants and cafes, parks and gardens, railways and highways are opened.

 How to find a University?

 Today Azerbaijan is holding the right place in the rapidly growing world. Students from various countries around the world specially from the neighbors come to pursue their studies in Azerbaijan. If the foreign student passes the Proficiency test of Azerbaijani and English he or she can be exempt from the Preparatory Lessons. How to get admission to University ?
